Buses by the Bridge, Jan 14-16. See Volkswagen buses ranging from rust-buckets to ultra expensive. Friday is set-up day with a free taco feed at 5pm. Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo Association, Little Delbert Days, Jan 28-29. For serious rodeo fans, The Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo brings competitors from around the Southwest and plenty of excitement with rough stock riders. Cactus Antique Aircraft Fly-in, Mar 2-3. Backhoe Rodeo, Mar 3. Backhoe operators test their skills at tasks that require finesse not brute strength. Operators will be competing for a $3,000 purse. Visitors will have a chance to see them in action and there are plenty of opportunities for the public to take a seat on a backhoe to see how it really works.

Historic Home and Building Tour, Mar 10-11. Visitors are driven to individual stops where hosts provide colorful information on the structure’s history, architecture and owners. This year’s tour also includes some of the historic figures buried in the Globe Cemetery. The Gila County Historical Society has an antique show this weekend; admission to the home tour includes admission to the antique show.
