

Wildlife or Nightlife? Enjoy Both in Laughlin

One of the most popular RV destinations in the southwest desert region is the Colorado River and its neon oasis of Laughlin, Nevada. Thousands of RVers annually fill the small town, enjoying the less-crowded, slower-paced gambling, inexpensive good food, top-notch nighttime entertainment, wide variety of RV facilities, and year-round water sports.
Could this possibly get any better? The Nevada Commission on Tourism and the Laughlin Tourism Commission think so. They’ve teamed up with dozens of volunteers and more than a dozen local, county, state and federal wildlife agencies, to put the finishing touches on the town’s second annual “Wings and Wildlife Festival of Southern Nevada.” Declared a resounding success when first held in March, 2009, Wings and Wildlife is a natural for nature lovers, and a satisfying break from the bells, whistles and bright lights of Laughlin’s 10 major casinos and hotels.
